Media Center Vision and Philosophy
In order to meet the needs of the learning community, a strong school library media program shall provide all patrons with a program designed to promote literacy and support information-seeking skills needed for inquiry. The Media Specialist teaches information literacy skills in collaboration with other teachers to support the curriculum, school objectives, and the needs of a diverse learning community. Students benefit from utilizing a variety of media sources to create meaningful learning experiences.
